President Donald Trump is thinking about nominating Herman Cain, former Republican candidate and a political director , for a seat on the Federal Reserve board, according to news reports.
The White House declined to comment, however, Axios and the Wall Street Journal reported that Cain has been contemplated. The president has said he plans to nominate another man for another rescue on the board. The nomination of moore has struck criticism he is unqualified and too focused for a Fed board seat.
Axios quoted two senior government officials but would like to await his background check.
A former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, cain, conducted for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination but dropped out after allegations of adultery and sexual harassment.
