Its minimum wage is raised by target to $13 from $12

Target is raising the hourly wage for the employees.

The discounter said it intends to increase the hourly wage that was starting to $13.

The Minneapolis-based retailer announced in 2017 a plan to increase its hourly salary for employees to $15 and increased its beginning wage to $11. In March 2018 , hourly salary were fostered by it to 12 after seeing a much better and bigger pool of applicants.

Retailers are under pressure to find qualified workers. In October, Amazon announced a minimal hourly wage of $15 because of its U.S. employees.

Walmart increased its pay to $11 an hour at 2018.
