Last week, the top minor-league batting projections were highlighted (link).  This week, pitchers are tackled.  Again, these are “in the prime” projections, not 2008 projections.  For pitchers, however, there's much less of a “growth curve”, so pitchers who post good MLP's could be expected to perform at some similar level in MLB almost immediately.  Pitcher [...]

Attached here are the Batter Minor League Projections (MLPs) from the 2007 minor league seasons (for players with 200+ AB+BB).  In one sense, this can be viewed as a list of the 100 most-promising minor-league seasons from 2007, though some of the low-AB seasons are less reason for optimism than worse rate stats over more AB.
