Well the winter meetings are upon us, and unfortunately I’m in New York this year, not Indianapolis. However, that’s not going to stop us from covering all the events this week. I’ll of course be Tweeting @jhamrahi as will Zach Sanders I’m sure @zvsanders and a few of our newest contributors, Bill Ferris @billfer, Dan Wade @Dwade, and Jeff Creps @jeffcreps.

We’ll of course continue to post stories on the main blog at www.baseballdailydigest.com and will send out blast emails of breaking news. Some of our group will make guest radio appearances as well, and we’ll inform you of those once we have the details.

Speaking of new contributors, I’d like to introduce our three new friends. Dan Wade is an intern at Baseball Prospectus and joins us from TwinsMVB.com and the Bleacher Report. Jeff Creps’ work can be found at the  San Diego News Network where he covers the Padres. Jeff will also be providing insight on the Dodgers throughout the year. And finally, Bill Ferris of The Detroit Tigers Weblog is on board to cover all things Tigers. Bill has been blogging even longer than me, dating back to 2001. 

Dan, Jeff, and Bill will be syndicating many of their articles on BDD while still providing original content from time to time. Welcome guys!
 
A few other quick notes…I’ll be kicking off our offseason interview series this week. I spoke with D-Backs manager AJ Hinch and Indians 1B-OF Matt LaPorta last week. Those will be the first two articles to go up.

And stay tuned…the resurrection of BDD Live (our popular BTR radio show) is close at hand.
