The Society of American Baseball Research (SABR) released the dates for its 4oth annual national convention in a posting on the organizations website earlier today.

The announcement reads:

The the Society for American Baseball Research has finalized the dates for its 40th annual convention. It will be held August 5-8, 2010, at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Atlanta.
SABR 40 will be the first convention SABR has held in Atlanta. The city is one of only four current MLB markets never to host a SABR convention. Details on SABR 40 will be available on the convention website.

I’ve only heard good things about this event and having never attended, I plan on doing so in 2010.
