Roto Lunch – August 31

Starting Pitchers:
- Randy Wolf is available in almost 50% of leagues still. He’s a great play against Arizona today.
- We wouldn’t trust Joe Saunders just yet against most teams, but at Seattle is one such team, and should be a good one-day pickup.
- Gio Gonzalez against KC, and Derek Holland against Toronto should be okay plays today, but come with the young pitcher risk.
Batters:
- of Andrew McCutchen might play in both games today, and he’d be a great pickup with just one.
- of Lastings Milledge is every bit as good of a play as McCutchen, though he probably won’t steal as much.
- 3b/1b Casey Blake should be “okay” today, even though Doug Davis is good.
- c A.J. Pierzynski
- 3b Scott Rolen almost certainly won’t play both games, but both PIT pitchers are bad.
- c Kurt Suzuki
- of Rajai Davis if you need steals.
- 1b Billy Butler – you guessed it, another LHP.
- 3b/of Chris Coghlan – no disrespect to Tim Hudson, but first game back off the DL, and you just never know. Combine that with a platoon advantage and Coghlan being red-hot, and it’s a “go”.
- ss Erick Aybar – don’t expect steals today, though.
- c Ivan Rodriguez
- c John Baker
- 2b/3b Adam Kennedy
