Starting Pitchers:

- #1A, with a Bullet today is white-hot Ray Jeff Neimann, facing the Mariners.  In Seattle.  With Felix going for Seattle, this game could be scoreless until the pens get involved.  Seriously, the ump information isn’t available yet, but the initial 7.5 Over/Under line seems far too high for this matchup.

- Brian Bannister doesn’t inspire much confidence, but he’s been doing a great job recently.  Far be it from the Oakland A’s to slow him down – they can only beat Boston and Texas.

- As much as they try, the Cubs still don’t have much offense against RHP, and most of what they do have comes from their righty bats.  Enter Ubaldo Jimenez, a nightmare for NL righty batters.   We don’t care if this game is in Colorado or on the moon, it rates to be low scoring.

- If Florida’s going to catch Philly, they need to get over their collective mental block against some of the Phils pitchers.  Today’s entrant is Joe Blanton, who has an uncharacteristic 11.1 K/9 career against Florida, just one of many outstanding stats in that matchup.

- Feeling lucky?  Oliver Perez is in San Diego.
