And with today’s first pick, Stephen Strasburg…. Okay, so we have MLB draftees on the brain today. Wonder when he’ll become eligible. Keep an eye out!

Starting pitchers:

- Most of today’s pitchers are owned in well over half the leagues, but Carl Pavano is a quality pitcher (when healthy), and is home against the Royals for a nice matchup.

- David Bush is home against Colorado, which should be fine.

Batters:

- of Milton Bradley

- 2b Kelly Johnson

- ss Yunel Escobar (we’re not impressed with Charlie Morton, even if he does have a wicked curve)

- of J.D. Drew

- 1b Nick Johnson

- 1b/of Kendry Morales

- of Aaron Rowand

- c Chris Snyder

- 2b/of Skip Schumaker

- 3b is pretty much void of good plays today on the waivers, but if Billy Hall gets a spot start against De La Rosa, that’s a great play, and if you can wait for lineups, go for it.
