According to MLB.com, the Padres have traded Randy Wolf to the Astros for minor league pitcher Chad Reineke.
Wolf is 6-10 with a 4.74 ERA in 21 starts for the Padres this season.

I’m one of the few people that actually thought the Astros had an upside this year and so far I’m very wrong. This move is extremely puzzling. Not that Reineke is anything spectacular in the Minors at 26 and yet to make a Major League start.
Two and a half months to catch the Cubs, Brewers and Cardinals, I’m a little surprised that the move was to go get Randy Wolf rather than sell off some talent by the Astros.
I would think they have to do more here or this will truly be a waste of a move.
