The Mets just announced that Martinez has a mild left hamstring strain and will be out 4-to-6 weeks. Nelson Figueroa was called up earlier today to take Martinez's spot on the roster, but don't pencil him into the rotation too quickly as manager Willie Randolph said the team will go with a four-man rotation indefinitely. Based on this news, Oliver Perez will start the Mets' home opener next Tuesday against Philadelphia.
